What is quality? The definition of quality is the "standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind the degree of excellence of something. An improvement in product quality". It is a "distinctive attribute or characteristic by someone or something.” There is always a demand for quality and Quality will never go out of style. We all have properties we prefer, and that is called “taste.” We will have discussions comparing ranch homes, bungalows, mansions and McMansions, tiny homes, and so on. Several types of commercial properties: multi-family, retail, industrial, and office. Although each of us has a preference we can usually distinguish those properties that exhibit quality.
In the real estate world, Quality can be the condition of the property either for sale or rent, it's the professionalism of those that do the job, it's the finished product, or the residents that are placed into the property, agents doing the leasing or sales, the marketing, the pictures, the thoughtfulness and time devoted to each task. It's showing up early to the appointment, it's answering the late night call, it's about doing the little extra for your client. Further, it's about being honest, admitting your mistakes and just as important, working to rectify the issues created. Ultimately, it is performing at a “higher" level than your competitors having that “special product” to market.
